Call for Volunteers
Volunteers have long been the backbone of our events. Over 100 volunteers make this event possible every year, and this year is no different. Your involvement as a volunteer will directly support our efforts to keep brining events to Selkirk.
Here are some positions that are needed:
* Advertising - Distribute posters, deliver flyers a few weeks before the Fair & Rodeo
* In-field Booth & Beer Gardens - Sell liquor tickets, check ID, serve alcohol, stock liquor, host/hostess services (experience preferred)
* Hospitality - As needed
* Fair Worker - Booth relief person(s), man entry and exits where needed
* Setup and Tear down - Setup/Teardown fencing and signs
* 50/50 sales - seller/runner during the demo derby and rodeo performances
* Rodeo Support Worker - work in pen/chute area and opening an closing gates (experience with livestock a must)
* Program Distributor - Distribute programs during the rodeo performances
* Security - People to help keep an eye on things
* Admissions - Sell tickets and provide event information to spectators
* Children's Festival
